The vast majority of shark papers never get read by those outside of the scientific field. This is for a number of reasons such as they don't understand the language (aka 'jargon'), they don't have access to these papers, or they don't have time. TFUI wants to be an accessible resource where you can learn the latest Chondrichthyan science in an easy-to-learn manner.
