Allen's skate (Pavoraja alleni) is a species in Rajidae family... and to be honest, little is known about these animals. But, we'll tell you what we do know about them! A yellow-creamy color all around, they have pink-ish spots on their dorsal side. Endemic to Australia, their maximum length is about 35 centimetres (14 in). They live on the soft, sandy bottoms of the continental shelf, seen at the depths from 304 to 458 metres (997 to 1,503 ft). It is said to lay eggs that have horns in each corner for protection. And... yup, that's all we know! It has not been assessed by the IUCN. EVER HEARD OF THE ANIMAL?GLOSSARY
